Booking & Cancellation Policy

A quick summary of how booking works with EDC Studio. For the full legal terms, see our Photography Service Agreement, which is provided at the time of booking.

Securing Your Date

A non-refundable booking fee of 30% of your package price secures your date. Your booking is only confirmed once this fee has been received — until then, your date remains available to other enquiries.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due no later than 24 hours before your session or event. This can be paid through the same secure checkout used for your deposit.

Cancellations

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel, please let us know with at least 14 days’ notice. The booking fee is non-refundable regardless of when you cancel, as it secures your date and reflects other work turned down for that day. If you cancel with less than 14 days’ notice, any balance paid beyond the booking fee will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Rescheduling

Need to move your date instead of cancelling? Just get in touch as early as possible. Requests made with at least 14 days’ notice can usually be rearranged at no extra cost, subject to availability.

Travel

Your package price includes travel within our standard coverage area (London, Portsmouth, and the surrounding areas). Locations further afield may incur a small additional travel fee, which we’ll always agree with you in writing before your booking is confirmed.

Gallery Delivery

Your edited photographs are typically delivered within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the size of your booking. We’ll always confirm an estimated delivery date with you around the time of your session.
